Continuing Education
The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® (BACB®) approves providers of Type 2 Continuing Education (CE) pursuant to the recertification standards found at www.BACB.com. The goal of
the BACB Type 2 CE approval program is to make a wide array of CE events available to BACB certificants.

Behavior Analyst Licensure
Rhode Island State Law for licensing Applied Behavior Analysts, when passed initially, is too detailed and does not change when the BACB will change its guidelines in 2022. The goal is to rewrite legislation so that the law is sensitive to BACB changing guidelines.

Insurance Coverage
The current autism legislation need to be revised to remove age and monetary caps for the rendering of services. Legislation also states that ABA is only for Autism… but that is not true.We need to advocate for clients that may age out of services but may still need them and for those clients who can benefit from services but do not have an Autism diagnoses.
